Palladium Books Recession Buster RPG Sale
Kevin had put several bundles of “distressed” books up for auction at the Palladium Open House and was startled at how people were quick to gobble them up at a discount price. In many cases, these were gamers who already owned the books, but it seems they were buying them up as spare copies, gifts, and copies for their players to use on game night. All sold for half the cover price.
That has inspired Kevin to create Recession Buster Bundles for sale online at bargain prices!
ALL books are “distressed,” i.e. damaged in some way. Sometimes minor, sometimes not so minor. Most are “returns” from the mass market chain stores, or items we noticed as damaged and pulled from regular inventory.
Distressed means the cover may have one or more scrapes, scuffs, dents, dings, nicks, bent corner, crushed corner, bent cover, waffle impression, and/or slightly discolored paper/pages (typically a bit yellowed from exposure to sunlight), dirt scuffs/streaks/marks when you look at the book from the side or bottom, and/or the glossy luster of the cover is gone (dull) from being pulled off and put back on a shelf in a bookstore a million times, giving it a somewhat “used” appearance.
That having been said, all books are new, never used, they have all their pages and some have damage that is barely noticeable, while others are unmistakable.
