If you have a Friendly Local Game Store that you think would benefit by getting more coverage online by reporting its sales and events on Adventure Game News, be sure to let your store owner or manager know about this opportunity. Have them contact us at james@adventuregamespubs.com, and we will get back with them as soon as possible. Retailer reporters and those who get us in contact with new retailers will both benefit from future special offers from Adventure Game News.

Board Games: Risk 2210 from Wizards of the Coast keeps selling steadily.
Card Games: Munchkin from Steve Jackson Games; sales have slowed down a bit in the past couple of months but is still the best selling card game in the store.
Collectible Miniature Games: Star Wars Miniatures from Wizards of the Coast; having a dedicated group of 14+ players every Monday night helps.
Miniature Games: Codex Imperial Guard from Games Workshop. The best selling Codex or Army book in recent memory
Roleplaying Games: Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition from Wizards of the Coast. We are still hearing complaints from Dungeons & Dragons ver3.5 players who don't want to switch over, but the ones that do seem pretty happy with the new edition.
Trading Card Games: Magic: The Gathering from Wizards of the Coast is still the champ; its sales beat those of Yu-Gi-Oh! by a factor of 3 to 1.
Wargames: Axis & Allies from Wizards of the Coast; people have heard about the new edition and are looking to pick up copies of the old before it goes away
Other Game-Related Products: Chessex Dice. A day doesn't go by that we don't sell at least a couple of cubes of Chessex dice.
Comic Books: Sales have dropped off of Knights of the Dinner Table from Kenzer & Company, but it is still our best selling gaming related comic. #150 was the first sell out we've had in awhile.
What cool events are coming up in your store in the next month? Camp Castle: we are hosting a gaming camp for kids under the age of 16 the first week of June. We'll be teaching a different game each day and then run a second camp later in the summer focusing on improving skills in one particular game. We stole the idea from Gnome Games (Green Bay, Wis.) and it has worked pretty well for us.
